Meet Jodi & Raul, who had their wedding at The Barn on Ivy Road in Bremen Indiana on September 30th of this year. Working with these two was an absolute blast! Jodi is the quieter one, while Raul (who works as a youth minister) is nothing but comedy!

Raul is from Miami and moved here for his love Jodi who is local to the area. We had to work around when Raul would be up this way for their engagement session and so I didn’t get to know him as well as Jodi, but clearly from their engagement to the wedding day they are both a fun loving, easy to get to know couple.

Their wedding was perfect country chic at The Barn on Ivy Road with the colors being gold, wine, champagne and navy mixed with rustic items and the barns own charm. Jodi wore a halter wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline embellished with intricate beading. Raul wore a casual look with slacks, dress shirt and gray vest.

They opted for an earlier ceremony and finger food reception, with special macaroni and cheese from a favorite restaurant brought in from Miami. They had wine custom bottled with their own labels featuring a photo from their engagement session as well. The wedding ended with lots of fun and tons of dancing, with Raul even playing DJ for awhile!

It was a pretty short wedding day for me, but it was full of so much love and excitement from two people who are so happy to be man and wife! I was glad that I got to see them again just a few short weeks ago when they came to pick up their album and gallery wraps from the studio; which in my pregnancy brain had completely forgotten. Still in perfect Raul fashion he just made fun of me and turned it one large joke, which I am thankful for!
