Sahar and Travis’ Aloft Hotel Wedding took place on a perfect mid-October day. Sahar was beaming as she got prepared for her ceremony with her adoring bridal party. While Travis and his groomsmen were nearby feeling confident and relaxed. I could tell right away that it was going to be an awesome event with contagious energy.

Sahar looked absolutely majestic in a ballgown fit for a princess. The details on her Badgley Mischka shoes provided an unexpected sparkle. And her bright red lipstick added the perfect touch of glamour. It also perfectly complemented the bridesmaids’ scarlet gowns. The groomsmen wore vests in the same vibrant hue, pulling the whole look together. I couldn’t get over how classy the collected effect appeared.

The ceremony began with a playful walk down the aisle, including an adorable ring bearer wearing shades and carrying the rings in a briefcase. It was beautiful to watch the emotion as family members shared words during both the traditional American ceremony as well as the one traditional to Sahar’s Iranian culture.  The couple exchanged heartfelt and joyous vows before heading to St. Mary’s for photos and then to celebrate at the reception.

Guests enjoyed the glistening gold and red décor and signed well wishes on puzzle pieces for the newlyweds. The excitement was bursting through the room as the couple entered the ballroom. And everyone was touched by the meaningful toasts.

The couple cut the towering cake that continued the puzzle theme. Then they danced to a magical first song together. And then with their parents as well as Sahar’s brother before their guests joined them on the dance floor. Soon, guests of all ages were having an amazing time celebrating the new couple.

This was definitely a memorable wedding for both the couple and their guests. I know both of their families will have many more reasons to celebrate as they watch this adorable couple’s story unfold in the future.
