Morgan & Greg | Winter LaSalle Wedding

Morgan and Greg selected a beautiful, early December evening for their winter LaSalle wedding in Downtown South Bend. The careful planning paid off in a perfectly pulled together event. I loved how every detail added something special to the evening.

I love shooting the “getting ready stage” of weddings. It gives me such an awesome glimpse into the personal lives of my clients and sets the stage for the whole event. This time was no different as I enjoyed watching Morgan and Greg prepare for their wedding and greet their family and friends. They was an eager calmness that made me excited for the rest of the evening.

The ceremony decor was simple yet stunning. A set of festive pines provided a flawless backdrop for the happy couple to exchange vows. Morgan’s dress and veil created a look that had an amazing combination of fit and flow. Her lush, bouquet of greenery and white flowers played so well off the floral detail on the belt of her gown.

The art deco venue was an ideal location for the glamorous reception. The decor was dazzling in shades of glitzy gold and crisp white. The evergreen and white florals continued from the ceremony to create beautiful, towering centerpieces and place settings.

The guests enjoyed meaningful toasts, delicious dinner, and comfortable chatting before it was time for dessert. Morgan and Greg’s joy was so transparent as they cut the cake and fed each other their first bites. The happiness continued to their first dance where a surprise snowfall emerged from the ceiling! It was truly a magical part of the evening!

Morgan and Greg shared special, heartfelt dances with their parents before their guests joined them on the dance floor. The laughter and cheerfulness was a warm contrast to the winter evening. I left that night with some great images and the awesome memories of Morgan and Greg’s perfectly planned wedding.
