In a picturesque corner of New Paris, Indiana, Katie and Anna’s love story blossomed into something truly magical. Their engagement session at DeFries Calendar Garden was a testament to their enduring connection, setting the stage for their upcoming wedding at The Armory in South Bend this month.

Nestled in the heart of New Paris, DeFries Calendar Garden provided a safe and welcoming space for Katie and Anna’s engagement session. The garden’s vibrant array of flowers and lush greenery mirrored the diversity and inclusivity that the couple deeply valued. As the couple wandered hand in hand through the winding path Anna enjoyed pointing out different types of flowers to Katie and myself, which was amazing as I have very poor knowledge of plant names!

I worked hard to capture them in not only posed, but beautiful candid moments of smiles and laughter (which to be honest wasn’t very hard at all! They smiled and laughed so much!). Being able to capture their authentic selves was an honor and a privilege.
