Flash forward to their fall wedding at the stunning Tabor Hill Winery. The emerging fall foliage and quiet rows of grapevines made this the perfect setting for them to start their next chapter. The time spent with family and friends preparing for the ceremony was calm, cheerful, and such a joy for me to shoot.

Kody looked polished in a well-tailored, classic grey suit from Men’s Warehouse. His merlot tie was a flawless choice for the winery setting. He also sported a fun and unique boutonniere that perfectly complemented the bride’s bouquet. Granger Florist created her fabulous bouquet in shades of pink contrasted by lush greenery.

The wedding was a family affair with Kaitlyn’s stepmom planning the details and her nana serving as the officiant. The ceremony was picture perfect. Her delicate lace wedding dress from The Blushing Bride and her long sheer veil whispered down the grassy aisle in shoes by Steve Madden while serenaded by Silver Strings Quartet. As the couple said their touching vows, the obviously close-knit group visibly shared in the emotion of the moment. As they exchanged glistening wedding rings from Jared, the sky began to cloud over. An unexpected rainfall began just as the ceremony ended, adding a touch of romanticism and spontaneity.

Inside, the woodsy chic décor was perfect for the intimate reception. The lace of Kaitlyn’s dress continued to the linens, and the rustic touches made the space comforting. The guests were eager to chatter over dinner and cheer the new couple as they sipped the winery’s finest.

The couple was all smiles and laughter as they swayed to My Best Friend for their first dance. Then the guests, young and old, took their turns on the dance floor. The hugs and silly poses reflected the love and happiness in the room.

As Kody and Kaitlyn took off into the night, I felt a surge of happiness for them and their new lives together. And that I got to witness the closeness and family that would be a foundation for many future celebrations.
