I’ve always liked creepy things, halloween, costumes and the weird. I doubt it comes as a shock to most but I was a pretty intense goth girl in my high school days and into my early 20’s. I rock mom hair now, but through my tattoo’s and piercings I hold onto a bit of that weirdness. I’ve wanted to tap into that love for halloween with a goth wedding shoot for many years and finally it came to be this season with the Halloween Styled Wedding at Journeyman Distillery!

I asked my past bride and groom Beth & Ahren first if they would model for me and of course they said yes or well Beth said yes and told Ahren where he needed to be! I think Beth was just as excited as I was finding the right dress, props and coming up with ideas for things I hadn’t thought of.

Next it was on to find the right vendors to help make my vision a reality! I had always wanted to shoot at Journeyman Distillery, but it just hadn’t happened yet and so I thought this would be a perfect venue for my shoot. Chalee from Always N Bloom created the most beautiful, dark and moody bouquet and boutonnière for my couple. My resident makeup artist at my studio space Molly Sandler created the makeup look and lastly my girl Kimmie owner of Kalon Hair Lab styled the hair in a chic updo! The jewelry belong to Beth and the dress came from DH Gate and the veil was from Amazon.
