Elli & Jill had their Lakeville backyard wedding all the way back in August, which feels just like yesterday but also a long time ago as its been a busy fall! Their wedding was perfectly fit to their style with the focus being about their marriage and enjoying quality time with friends and family.

The ceremony and reception were all together in one location in their families backyard, next to a pond surrounded by trees on one side and open fields on the other. They exchanged simple gold bands after each being walked down the aisle by both of their sets of parents and some wonderful readings. Elli wore a simple sheath style gown, while Jill opted for pants and a white button down shirt. The flowers for both the bouquet and centerpieces were mostly grown by Elli in her own garden and DIY’d with the help of her family and friends.

The reception did not have the some of the normal traditions as they wanted to focus on seeing everyone. So I helped them document their day by taking candids and posed photos with all the amazing people who joined them on their special day!

It was a simple, yet elegant wedding perfectly suited to them. I loved how they had a beautiful day while staying true to themselves and the amazing marriage they are going to have.
