I met Wayne of D&T Productions 6 years ago! I cannot really believe it’s been that long or that our first mutual client Tiffany and Brent have been married 6 years already (so awesome!). The wedding was at the Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor and Wayne kept the party going. I think I left around 11PM and they partied well into the wee hours.
The best thing to look for in a DJ is one that can not only play the right music at the appropriate time, but be a great MC. You don’t want someone who’s just going to read off a list, stay behind the booth and not socialize. You want the loud and boisterous guy who’s going to talk, make jokes and get out on that floor and help you figure out the cupid shuffle (if thats your thing!).
The other upside to D&T Productions is they love what they do and they love their clients just as much. They always work hard to provide the best experience for their couples and work seamlessly with the other vendors. When I know that Wayne and his crew are booked onto a wedding that I am working I know that the reception will be flawless and I’ll have someone fun to chat to once in awhile too!
