Chloe & Jacob were already married, but wanted to include their family in their happy day by having a belated wedding reception at The Res in Mishawaka They did not have a particular theme, but loved fall and went with that. The Res has a cozy lodge nestled into the woods, overlooking a stream. What better place for a reception if you love fall?

Their reception was a casual DIY affair, getting help from all their family and friends to pull it off. Chloe wore a simple lace gown with an open back from LuLu’s and it was altered by her sister. Jacob wore a casual shirt and pants from mens warehouse and while he does wear a ring Chloe got her ring off ebay. Chloe’s mother made their cake and cheesecakes and Jacobs mom did the decor. Fisher’s Tips and Chips catered their lunch with BBQ, sausage and hot dogs with all the sides!

Chloe and Jacob know how to really dance and wanted their first dance to be a rumba. The space at the Res is a bit small for grand dances, but found a song The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson that worked with what they wanted and executed a beautiful formal first dance.
