Brooke + Grant | Stonegate Manor Wedding

Brooke & Grant had their Stonegate Manor wedding back in September in Benton Harbor, MI on what was suppose to be beautiful fall day but gave us rain instead. Still, thats ok! Rain is good luck and Brooke & Grant got an abundance of luck that day!

Brooke & Grant met while Brooke was interning on Hilton Head, Island the summer of 2010. After hitting it off and keeping in touch throughout the year Brooke invited Grant back down to Hilton Head the following summer and of course he obliged! They made their relationship official in the fall of 2011. Brooke told me she loves Grants calming balance, to counter her always running at 100MPH while he loves her smile and her personality!

Their wedding theme was more of an organic journey, picking things they loved like the color purple and succulents and letting that lead them. Stonegate Manor is a beautiful venue covered in patches of woods, with a historical house, getting ready cottage, reception hall and of course the wooded fairy garden where their ceremony took place. The theme just fell into place and was perfectly them.

Brooke wore a lace “a” line gown with a “v” neckline by Meryl by Maggie Sottero purchased at Memories Bridal in Kalamazoo, MI; she also wore some amazing glitter Keds by Kate Spade. Grant and his guys wore a gray suite with purple accents by Joseph Abboud from Men’s Warehouse. All the bridesmaids wore purple in different styles by Azazie.

Beauty and Bliss did the most perfect makeup & hair and the rings were from Kay Jewelers. Flowers by Anna created some stunning floral arrangements not just for the bridal party but for the centerpieces and decor as well. The cake (which was so yummy!) was made by a family friend Leigh Tyler and a sweet late night treat of whoopie pies were made by Purple Mountain in Belleville, PA. Classic Catering provided the dinner and John Correll Professional DJ Services set the ambiance. We were accompanied for the day by Life on Earth Productions who did videography for the day.

The day went off without a hiccup, despite the rain and they enjoyed their Wedding Ale from Bell’s Brewery and danced their first dance to Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden.
