Mishawaka Engagement Session

These two are planning to possibly elope, they haven’t hundred percent decided yet. Still they wanted some pretty engagement photos while they were in the planning process, so we went out last weekend to Battell and Beutter Park for a snowy Mishawaka Engagement Session to capture some beautiful moments (and a little…or just maybe a lot of PDA).

We got lucky that there was some active snow to add to the magical moment, even if it was really windy! Seriously though these two were just naturals in front of the camera, even if they were freezing! They came with two outfit choices, one a little dressy and one a little more casual and even brought the blanket prop themselves. We walked around most of the time, with the wind gusts and the snow blowing in our faces. Red cheeks, eyes watering and super cold fingers did not matter to them just gorgeous pictures to profess their love.

We wrapped up the session over at the 100 Center taking pictures against the old brick, using it as a nice buffer against the cold and bitter wind then a brisk walk to Kamm Island as a final hoorah! These two were dedicated! I can’t wait to hear where they plan to have their nuptials at, though I have a funny feeling they may be considering some place really really (did I say really?) warm! Because honestly I wouldn’t blame them if they did after this cold session. I see palm trees and a sandy beach in their future perhaps (and Alex would look fabulous at a beach wedding wouldn’t she?), but anyway I digress!

I wish them all the best in the planning process and many years of wedded bliss; so glad they made it through the cold! I had fun and it looks like they did too! We hope that the small water softener gift they recieved to make their life happier!
