Shannon and Andy were married this past August in one of the ballrooms of the Century Center for their Downtown South Bend Wedding. Shannon had so many wonderful ideas for her day, starting with the planning of the seating for the ceremony. She arranged to get married “in the round” with the stage, her and Andy being the focal point right in the center. It was a beautiful setup and one and I had not ever had the pleasure of photographing in eleven years in this industry.

There wedding was Peacock colored themed, with gorgeous purple bridesmaids dresses and lovely floral arrangements. I love the jewel tones used to achieve this theme, it was great to photograph!

The reception was held at St. Andrews Hall inside the Greek Orthodox Church on the North side of South Bend. The food was catered by the always fabulous Callahans Catering (seriously its fabulous, need a caterer? Call Leann!).

The icing on the cake was well the fun grooms cake by which was “Da Bears” themed. It was a total surprise to Andy and was presented to him by none other then Mike Ditka or well a rather convincing impersonator; who stuck around for lots of photos throughout the evening!

Shannon and Andy were a dream couple to work with! I loved every minute of their wedding, it was so perfectly tailored to who they were as a couple. Such personal touches everywhere! Like always I am blessed an honored that these amazing couples pick me to be a part of their day. Congratulations you two!
