Katie and Kenny had a lovely rustic Oaks at South Paw Farm Wedding on the south side of South Bend, Indiana on October 10th 2015. Katie contacted me just a few months before her wedding to see if I was still available. I was planning on shutting down around then for my own wedding, but her wedding sounded so adorable I just had to take on just one more for the 2015 wedding season.

The location is a wonderful dream, once owned by a professional athlete it is now a retreat and wedding venue hidden away down a long winding lane and lots and lots of trees. With a red barn appearance, lush yard and gorgeous interiors with vaulted ceilings it is so fun to photograph there.

When Katie contacted me she was still living down south with her fiance Kenny who was stationed there. We did most of our chatting via email and I was able to meet them both for the first time only a month before their wedding during an engagement session we did in DTSB near the Nico Studio’s office. They are a very cute couple who are very much in love!

I am so happy I took on this last wedding and was able to photograph their special day for them at The Oaks at South Paw Farm. The images are beautiful and so is the bride with her dashing groom. I wish them the best!
